Too many of us don’t have a regular time set aside to nurture ourselves. Making a massage appointment may seem indulgent when there’s laundry to be done, dinner to make, overtime at work to be had and deadlines to meet. However, when you understand that massage doesn’t just “feel good” but imparts all the benefits above and many more, you will realize that this is a one hour investment in your health and well being. We all know by now that you have to have something for yourself before you can be equipped to give to others of your time and energy. Setting aside this time to let yourself be nurtured contributes to your reserve of energy.
Let me share a secret with you: healing begins the day you make your massage appointment. You see, choosing to value your health in this way sends a powerful message to your psyche that has immeasurable effects on your body and mind.
